Andrew Hill is a highly respected and experienced Rugby League administrator with over 20 years in sports management, including nine years in senior executive roles, underpinned with experience across all four professional football codes in Australia.  

Andrew was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for the Rugby League World Cup (RLWC2017), which is being cohosted by Australia and New Zealand in 2017, with three games being played in Papua New Guinea (PNG). 
 
In his previous role as General Manager League Integration and Game Development for the National Rugby League (NRL), Andrew directed and managed a national plan for long term sustainability and growth of the game of Rugby League. Andrew led the operations management team of 400 staff across all Australian States and Territories and established offices across the Pacific including PNG, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga. 
 
Andrew doubled Rugby League participation by creating a strategic partnership between the NRL and Touch Football Australia and managed the stakeholder engagement and operational requirements to achieve this smooth and successful integration. Andrew currently holds the following positions:

  • Board Member - NSW Royal Life Saving
